My name is Leonard Adams, I am 60 years old. Quite old in comparison to most tumblrs. What I lack in youth, I make up for in curiosity.
The images I offer here are presented as large as possible, that one has a sense of their size in relation to the world around us. Seeing as a dog would, we can get a sense of our own insignificance. That, and a healthy dose of humility would do us all some good.
“It’s not for the door to decide which way to swing”
Second posting, not a duplication of accidental nature. There’s hints in the larger image for an answer to the question; ‘Which direction are they going?’ Can you tell which?
I’ll post the correct answer after the big ‘tumblr overhaul’ tomorrow.
Now, how’s that for a shameless hook? Not to mention a cheap shot at getting the photo looked at more closely.
Am I terrible, or what?
This image has recently seen a lot of activity in likes and reblogs. Originally posted Oct. 06 2012, someone picked it up from my archives and reblogged it. I want to thank them for that. I think this is due in part to the easier to use format of the archives here on tumblr, but I appreciate the flurry of activity for an image that’s one of my favorites.
I haven’t ever claimed to be anything of an artist, I just like making images that are comfortable to see, or suggest a story, elicit a feeling, or maybe are just plain pretty.
The response to some of my stuff warms my heart… Thank you all.
Gracefully Poetic Pests (weeding, and raking were never my favorite outdoor activities, so how about I just leave them there, and enjoy the view.)
